Job Description
Due to continued growth in the energy sector we are expanding our Transmission & Distribution team and are seeking an additional Senior Primary Design Engineer to join our Wellington office.
How youll make a difference
Deliver transmission and distribution projects for public and private sector clients across New Zealand including preparation of tender documents specifications reports and review of drawings
Collaborate with clients stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams to develop innovative practical engineering solutions and ensure timely project delivery
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to integrate technical inputs and maintain quality across all stages of the project
Coach and mentor early professionals to build technical capability and support their career development

The qualities that help you thrive
A degree in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering (or equivalent)
Minimum of 5 years experience in substation primary design (indoor and outdoor) including HV underground cabling and switchroom design ideally within New Zealand
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build great client relationships and deliver high quality work under pressure
Experience in earthing system design and the use of CDEGS software
