Job Description
What are your contributions to the team
- Design and develop new vehicle architectures that meet regulatory and customer expectations.
- Lead physical and functional integration of vehicle systems and components from concept to program approval.
- Analyze and create alternative design concepts and resolve packaging and adaptation issues as vehicles progress toward production.
- Translate strategic and functional objectives into technical requirements and benchmark competitive vehicles.
- Utilize CAD tools (NX TeamCenter Vis Mockup) to create manipulate and present designs to stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional teams balancing design performance and manufacturing needs.
- Present ideas and design solutions to higher levels of management.
Qualifications :
How to thrive in this role
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited or equivalent).
- 5 years of experience in vehicle engineering (e.g. Body-in-White Chassis Powertrain Electrical or Interior Systems).
- Expertise in NX CAD Software TeamCenter and Vis Mockup.
- Strong communication and coordination skills across departments and global regions.
- Demonstrated ability to operate both independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Eligible for TN Visa (Canadian citizenship required).
Preferred qualifications
- Masters degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Broad vehicle knowledge and stakeholder integration experience.
- Strong relationship-building and change management abilities.
- Skilled in presenting complex ideas and data to management.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word PowerPoint Excel Outlook).
