Job Description
Are you passionate about great food great people and great leadership Guzman y Gomez (GYG) Australias leading Mexican QSR brand is looking for an energetic hands-on Shift Leader to join our fast-paced team!
As a Shift Leader at GYG youll play a key role in delivering exceptional service leading from the front and creating a positive environment for both team members and customers.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Oversee daily operations including staff scheduling inventory management and cash handling
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Provide excellent customer service and efficiently resolve any customer concerns or complaints
- Train and mentor new team members supporting their development and integration into the team
- Monitor and maintain product quality and consistency throughout your shift
- Assist in implementing new procedures and promotions as directed by management
- Contribute to achieving sales targets and improving overall restaurant performance
- Communicate effectively with team members management and customers
- Adapt to changing priorities and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications :
What Youll Need:
Previous leadership or supervisory experience in hospitality/QSR
Strong communication and time management skills
A positive attitude and a passion for team success
Mandatory Certifications:
First Aid Certificate
CPR Certificate
Food Safety Supervisor Certification
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
