2. Conversant with Customs Rules and regulation for import & export
3. knowledge of the International Logistic & transportation industry.
4. Conversant with handling of hazardous cargo shipment
5. Complete knowledge of export-import shipment process ( Air rail Ocean)
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for complete export shipment planning process as per incoterms and customer orders right from cargo readiness to shipment and b/l release - from multiple loading ports in India
Achieving Monthly export dispatch targets from multiple manufacturing plants in India
Follow up - with shipping companies and forwarding agents for bookings
Follow up - with forwarding agent and CHAs for timely gate in the port and advance loading list send to shipping co.
Responsible for timely updation of shipment status in SAP.
Coordination with Customer service teams for shipment updation to customers
Coordination with planners dispatch teams QC teams at plants.
Coordination with CHAs transporters freight forwarders shipping lines third party inspection agencies.
Resolution of issues related to shipments with customs shipping lines CFS other allied agencies.
Responsible for MIS reporting.
Ensure export/import laws and regulations in the importing ports at respective destination countries are adhered to.
Responsible for KPIs related to timely delivery and shipment costs.
Provide advance container volume forecast to shipping lines CHAS Transporters
Involvement in Global Logistics for respectives given region like - NAM EU APAC LATAM etc.
Would be also responsible for Pre-shipment & post- Shipment whenever required.
