Are you:
Accomplish account receivable supervisor with proven leadership and credit management skills
Result-driven professional in accounts receivable skilled in optimizing cash flow and resolving billing issues.
As an Accounts Receivable Supervisor Responsible for the successful execution of all operational processes of functional area. The supervisor must ensure that team members are properly trained and knowledgeable of the processes to meet client satisfaction consistently.
A Day in the Life
Supervise day-to-day operations of assigned team members; monitoring key activities assigning tasks and activities to the team and ensuring departmental goals are achieved.
Participate in setting the strategy for the team ensuring the team goals are aligned with the broader organization.
Maintain oversight of daily workflows along with assignments as necessary to ensure requested transactions are handled within expected turnaround times.
Oversee the creation and distribution of various reports to management and other business functions as it relates to daily and monthly transactions providing timely and actionable information.
Serve as an escalation point for the team when support is required. Escalate issues to the appropriate team(s) as necessary and act as liaison until resolved.
Partner with the manager to establish monitor and measure financial and performance standards
Motivate coach share best practices provide direction and enforce policies and standards to ensure the team achieves departmental goals and objectives.
Participate in the completion of daily tasks of the team as needed on any given day.
Conduct root-cause analysis to identify sources of problems; take action necessary to correct specific situations and eliminate the root cause of problems. Plan manage and implement special projects and initiatives
Includes but is not limited to account reconciliations account balancing journal entries disbursements refunds write-offs direct debits and returned payments.
Research of unidentified cash receipts. Where appropriate collaborate with various business functions to ensure timely identification and application to client invoices.
Ownership of ICFR and SOC controls ensuring timely responses to audit requests
Serve as a department liaison modelling professional behavior and effective interactions and conducting necessary conflict resolution
Champion process improvements by developing or supporting enhancements to standard operating procedures and policies that ensure flawless service delivery to Element clients. Maintain a continuous improvement mindset.
Requirements
Bachelors degree (Finance Business or Technology preferred) or three to five years related experience or equivalent industry experience.
2 or more years of demonstrated success in supervising or leading people in teams of 5 employees.
General Element/fleet business product and service knowledge is strongly preferred
Demonstrated experience with the ability to lead motivate and inspire employees to perform at their highest levels to achieve departmental goals and objectives
Strong organizational planning decision-making execution and proven analytical skills required
Ability to work under pressure using tact discretion and good judgment to respond to all requests professionally and courteously.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Solid PC skills (Word Excel PowerPoint) and user-level application knowledge data entry and typing skills and be familiar with general office equipment.
Demonstrated ability to build and foster teamwork and relationships.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The hiring base salary range for this position is $75500 to $103800 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individuals knowledge skills experience equity with other team members and alignment with market data.
Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
