Job Description
Job Title: PGT Maths
Overview
The PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) Maths plays a crucial role in the academic development of students in middle and high schools. This position is responsible for delivering advanced mathematics curriculum to students preparing them for their academic examinations while instilling a love for the subject. The PGT Maths will design lesson plans that align with educational standards and foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students. Additionally the teacher will create a supportive learning environment that engages students and meets their individual learning needs. Effective teaching strategies continual assessment of student progress and a collaborative approach with parents and faculty members are also integral to this role. As mathematics is foundational to many aspects of education and future careers the PGT Maths is pivotal in nurturing students quantitative skills enhancing their analytical abilities and preparing them for the challenges of higher education. The ideal candidate will not only possess deep mathematical knowledge but also demonstrate the ability to inspire and motivate students to excel in their studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum objectives.
- Teach advanced math concepts such as calculus algebra and geometry.
- Conduct regular assessments and quizzes to evaluate student learning.

Required Qualifications
- Master s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Bachelor s degree in Education or relevant subject area.
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience in a similar role.
- Valid teaching certification or license.
- Strong knowledge and passion for mathematics.
- Ability to create engaging and inclusive lesson plans.
- Proficient in using educational technology and software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proven classroom management skills.
- Experience with student assessment and evaluation.
