Overview
The Oracle Fusion Technical role specializing in Scripting and Fast Formulas is crucial for organizations that leverage Oracles cloud applications. This role involves the design development and optimization of complex technical solutions within the Oracle Fusion environment. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion applications and scripting languages to create dynamic and efficient formulas for payroll benefits and other HR functionalities. This position serves as a bridge between functional requirements and technical ensuring that business processes are supported by robust technical solutions. An effective Oracle Fusion Technical professional will enhance system functionality optimize user experience and support integration with other corporate systems. The role s success is measured by the accurate implementation of formulas and scripts that meet the organizational needs along with the ability to troubleshoot and enhance existing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Fast Formulas for Oracle Fusion applications.
- Write and optimize scripts for configuration and customization purposes.
- Participate in design sessions to identify business requirements.
- Analyze existing scripts and formulas for efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand their needs and translate into technical solutions.
- Implement system integration with various data sources.
- Conduct testing of scripts and formulas to ensure accuracy.
- Troubleshoot issues related to Fast Formulas and scripting.
- Document development processes technical specifications and support documents.
- Provide technical support and training to users.
- Work in agile teams and contribute to project deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Stay updated with Oracle Fusion updates and features.
- Assist in data migration and data validation tasks.
- Review and assess the technical impact of new features.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle Fusion applications.
- Proficient in Oracle Fast Formulas and scripting languages.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud architecture and functionalities.
- Experience with SQL and database management.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in system integration methodologies.
- Familiarity with data migration processes.
- Knowledge of HR processes related to payroll and benefits.
