Job Description
Supervise and coordinate all lifting and rigging operations on site. Ensure all lifting activities comply with the approved lifting plan method statement and safety regulations. Conduct pre-lift meetings and toolbox talks with riggers signalmen and crane operators. Inspect and verify that lifting gear and equipment (slings shackles hooks etc.) are certified and in good working condition. Ensure crane operators and rigging teams hold valid certifications and have the proper experience. Review lifting plans and risk assessments in coordination with the safety and engineering teams. Monitor site conditions and ensure lifting operations are carried out within the equipment s load limits and ground conditions. Report near misses unsafe acts or incidents immediately and assist in investigations as needed. Maintain records of lifting operations equipment inspections and personnel certifications. Coordinate with logistics and project planning teams to schedule lifting operations without affecting ongoing site works. Ensure safety signage and barricades are in place during lifting operations.
Minimum 5 to 8 Years of experience as a lifting (Rigging) Supervisor Oil and gas experience is mandatory Should have a valid Lifting Supervisor Third Party Certificate
