We are seeking a detail-oriented proactive and highly organized Senior Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial records across multiple entities within the Agence De Parfum. The ideal candidate will be experienced in high-volume bookkeeping and inter-entity transactions
Key Responsibilities (Initial Bookkeeping Phase):
- Data entry of approximately 2000 supplier invoices/month via Dext.
- Allocation of customer deposits from remittance advices.
- Reconciliation of PayPal accounts.
- Allocation of recurring credit card transactions.
- Coordination with warehouse staff brand managers and store managers.
- Interaction with suppliers and customers as needed.
Weekly:
- Reconciliation of sales invoices.
- Processing of expense claims (Thursday) for up to three entities.
- Entry of sales and purchase invoices.
- Processing inter-entity expense recoveries (purchase side).
- Preparation and distribution of Accounts Receivable report to Nat.
- Issuance of customer statements and following up on overdue payments.
- Uploading creditor payments across all entities.
- Invoicing for subsidized wages
- Invoicing for inter-entity wage recoveries.
- Continued entry of invoices (until delegated).
Monthly:
- Reconciliation of sales invoices.
- Reconciliation of inter-entity loan accounts.
- Reconciliation of inter-entity Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable balances.
- End-of-month close-off and reconciliation of inter-entity loan accounts.
- Review of management accounts.
- Accrual of wages.
Ad Hoc:
- Stock adjustment processing (VendHQ)
- Stock adjustment processing (Unleashed)
- Preparation of reports as requested.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3 5 years of Australian bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- High-volume data entry experience with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in bookkeeping platforms (e.g. Dext VendHQ Unleashed).
- Experience in multi-entity accounting and reconciliations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.

Minimum of 5 years Australian accounting and taxation experience Xero / MYOB Certified Experience in the preparation and review of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, and trusts Experience working with Australian SMEs Competent with computer operations as well as some specific applications, such as Xero, MYOB, Microsoft Word, Excel, outlook. Experience with relevant computer systems The person must be keen to learn and develop their computer competencies Particularly good in verbal and written English communication skills
