Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Projects supportCoordinator to support our Labor Relations Department. This critical role will provide comprehensive administrative assistance coordinate project-related activities and ensure efficient day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and can communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and track job postings and related documentation
Support event planning by booking venues coordinating catering and handling logistics
Maintain timekeeping records and process employee expense reports accurately
Arrange travel for department staff and visitors including transportation and accommodations
Assist with budgeting and financial tracking for departmental activities
Order office supplies manage inventory and ensure department resources are stocked and organized
Organize and prepare materials for internal and external meetings
Provide administrative support on ad hoc tasks as needed to support Labor Relations operations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal
Strong conflict resolution capabilities; ability to navigate sensitive situations with discretion
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with a high level of integrity
Effective multitasking and prioritization skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting Human Resources Labor Relations or similar functions
Familiarity with corporate timekeeping and expense management systems
Background in coordinating administrative projects in a unionized or regulatory environment
