Job Description
The ideal candidate will have the ability to work on the following shifts: 3rd shift 11 PM - 7 AM (M-F) or a 12 hour shift 7 PM - 7 AM that rotates on a 2-2-3 schedule with every other weekend off.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Avery Dennison is seeking a Quality Lab Technician to join the Mill Hall in Pennsylvania. As a Quality Lab Technician at our facility you will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards. Youll be responsible for testing materials analyzing data and maintaining accurate records all while contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.
In your role as a Quality Lab Technician delivering on these responsibilities is critical to our success:
Conduct tests on in-process final and middle samples using approved technologies.
Analyze test results and make necessary adjustments to batches.
Box and store samples for future reference.
Test and approve incoming raw materials.
Accurately record test results in the QTL database.
Print certificates of analysis (C of A) for distribution.
Calibrate testing instruments (pH meter viscometers temperature baths etc.).
Handle and move testing materials including weighing non-bulk items.
Operate and maintain testing equipment according to standard procedures.
