As a Rigger you will:
Perform a variety of mechanical duties involving deck machinery engine room work electronic equipment staging work testing steel/pipe work general dock rudders shafting wheel work and anchor chain work
Operate equipment for assembly and installation
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery
Build/inspect scaffolding and staging
Work with Cranes Winches and Cargo Booms
Work a variety of shifts (1st shift 7:15 am to 4:00 pm 2nd shift 4:00 pm to 12:30 am 3rd shift 11:45 pm 7:45 am shifts may vary depending on site and workload)Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesRequired Education Experience & Skills
High School Diploma or GED
Able to wear appropriate protective gear
Able to physically perform essential job duties with or without accommodations
Able to work at heights in confined spaces and have the ability to climb staircases and ladders of varying sizes
Able to read write and comprehend simple instructions
Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written oral or diagram form
Able to calculate and understand units of measure including fractions and decimals
Know how to measure using a scale and tape measure
Ability to read a micrometer and dial indicator
One or more of the following certifications may be required consistent with business needs:
Forklift certification
Dynalift certification
Payloader lift certification
Extender boon forklift license and certification
5 years related experience for 1st Class or Specialist 5 years related experience for 2nd Class 4 years related experience for 3rd Class.
Preferred Education Experience & Skills
8 years related experience for 1st Class or Specialist 5 years related experience for 2nd Class 5 years related experience for 3rd Class
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $59800 - $91645
