Become an Engineer II - Software Test Automation at Thermo Fisher in Bengaluru ensuring flawless software performance.
Responsibilities:
- Build repeatable automated test cases for the application under test.
- Develop automated test cases based on existing manual test cases and feature acceptance criteria.
- Actively participate in scrum ceremonies such as story grooming and sprint planning sessions identifying technical risks and alternate solutions to various problems.
- Contribute to integration testing automation code reviews debugging and integration of complex code across multiple projects.
- Anticipate needs and problems while crafting solutions. Be willing to ask difficult questions and do things differently seeing challenges and changes as opportunities.
- Be a highly motivated individual who is quick to learn and can take initiative to actively engage in the development community sharing standard methodologies leading initiatives and participating in other organizational activities.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills effectively detailing and explaining artifacts and processes to others.
Requirements:
- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience in Java Selenium and API testing.
- Proficiency in object-oriented principles design patterns data structures and unit testing.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools such as Atlassian Jira.
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
