This role is part of Thermo Fisher Scientifics Global IT Infrastructure Services team supporting a diverse worldwide organization. You will collaborate with colleagues across regions to drive cost optimization and accountability for our cloud and infrastructure spend.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Lead financial governance and cost optimization initiatives for public and private cloud infrastructure.
- Build and present executive-level dashboards reports and FinOps reviews that drive data-driven decisions.
- Partner with IT Finance and Operations teams to enhance cost visibility accountability and efficiency.
KEYS TO SUCCESS
EDUCATION
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Economics Finance or equivalent experience required.
EXPERIENCE
- 6 years of experience in IT infrastructure cloud FinOps financial governance or business analysis.
- Demonstrated experience managing cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices at scale.
- Experience engaging with senior leadership to provide financial guidance and transparency.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES
- Strong discernment and analytical skills with a passion for cost accountability and optimization.
- Familiarity with the FOCUS areas of the FinOps Foundation (Inform Optimize Operate) and ability to apply them in practice.
- Ability to develop and maintain cost dashboards tagging policies and alerts to manage cloud resources effectively.
- Excellent communication customer management and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex financial data for technical and business audiences.
- Proficiency in financial tools cloud billing platforms and Microsoft Office applications (Excel PowerPoint Outlook Project).
- Experience with M&A integration or GxP systems a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
Position may require minimal travel (domestic/international). Work is primarily performed in a remote or office environment with standard IT equipment. No unusual physical requirements.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Pennsylvania is $130000.00$194950.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
