Our client a prestigious engineering consultancy is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse high-impact projects spanning educational facilities healthcare systems transportation infrastructure and aviation projects. Youll collaborate with senior engineering professionals while contributing to the design and implementation of cutting-edge electrical systems that power communities and enhance lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design electrical systems for facilities across multiple industries including education healthcare and transportation
- Perform complex design computations and develop construction cost estimates
- Prepare comprehensive contract plans specifications and technical documentation
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely project completion
- Attend client meetings and manage stakeholder communications
- Design power distribution lighting fire alarm and security systems
- Apply NEC IBC and NFPA codes to ensure compliant electrical design work
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5-10 years of experience in electrical power distribution lighting systems or fire alarm design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite
- Understanding of NEC IBC and NFPA codes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid drivers license and ability to pass motor vehicle screening
