King Countys
Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS)provides equitable opportunities for people to be healthy happy and connected to community. The primary role of this position is to provide supervision training and support to the provider relations staff. The position will also support the management and coordination of the expense and revenue contracts including development implementation and monitoring. The position will focus on contracts with community-based providers who provide mental health and substance use disorder treatment services utilizing public funds. Provider relations is a strong focus of this position and supports the provider relations team in this role including supporting provider performance and leading training and technical assistance for the provider community. Incumbents in this position also actively participate in program planning policy development and the procurement of network providers.

WORK SCHEDULE/CONDITIONS: This position is exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime. Typical hours are Monday through Friday 8am5pm.


MISSION CRITICAL POSITION STATUS:This position has been designated Non-Mission Critical. Unless otherwise directed by the County Executive department director or agency head all employees regardless of designation are expected to report to work or request leave during an emergency or inclement weather. TELEWORKING REQUIREMENT:The work associated with this position will be performed or conducted through a combination of teleworking and onsite work and meetings. Employees will have access to shared workspaces at various King County facilities. Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
