Your Mission as a Sales Development Representative
As a LatAm Spanish-Speaking Sales Development Representative youll be on the front lines of our sales efforts responsible for identifying and engaging with potential business clients across Latin America. Your primary goal will be to generate high-quality sales leads and set up qualified meetings for our senior sales team directly contributing to our expansion.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead Generation: Proactively research and identify potential B2B clients in various industries within the LatAm market using diverse tools and platforms.
- Outbound Engagement: Initiate contact with prospective clients through various channels including cold calling email outreach and professional networking (e.g. LinkedIn Sales Navigator) all in fluent LatAm Spanish.
- Discovery & Qualification: Conduct in-depth discovery calls to understand client needs challenges and current solutions effectively qualifying their potential as a sales opportunity.
- Value Proposition: Articulate the value of our innovative software solutions tailoring your message to resonate with the specific needs of each prospect.
- Meeting Scheduling: Successfully schedule qualified meetings and demonstrations for our Account Executives ensuring a smooth handover of promising leads.
- CRM Management: Maintain meticulous records of all activities interactions and lead statuses in our CRM system (e.g. Salesforce) ensuring data accuracy and pipeline visibility.
- Market Insights: Gather and share valuable feedback from the LatAm market regarding trends competitor activities and customer needs to inform sales and marketing strategies.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with product knowledge industry trends and sales techniques to continuously improve your performance.
What Were Looking For
To excel in this role youll need a blend of sales acumen linguistic prowess and a proactive mindset:
- Language Fluency: Native or near-native (C2) fluency in LatAm Spanish is essential with an understanding of regional nuances. Strong English communication skills (B2/C1) are also required for internal communication training and working with global teams.
- Sales Experience: A minimum of 1 year of proven B2B sales experience in a similar Sales Development Business Development or Inside Sales role is a must.
- Communication & Persuasion: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly articulate value and overcome objections.
- Resilience & Drive: A highly motivated target-driven individual who thrives under pressure and is not afraid of rejection.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) sales engagement platforms (e.g. Outreach Salesloft) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify client needs and propose relevant solutions.
- Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced evolving sales environment.
- Learning Agility: Eagerness to learn about complex software solutions and a dynamic industry.
