Job Description

Workday Functional Lead Recruiting and Performance or Advanced Compensation (m/f/d)

Hybrid or Remote Germany or Poland

limited to 6 months

Your tasks:

  • Lead the functional design and implementation of new features and enhancements in Workday including requirements gathering design documentation configuration testing deployment and training & stabilization

  • Perform configuration setup develop test plans and execute on delivering new Workday business processes and configuration updates by transforming technical requirements into concrete value adding outcomes for SWISS KRONO while ensuring the integrity quality and security

  • Ensure smooth transition to ongoing operations including support of user acceptance testing management of end-to-end issue resolution cycle and partnered leader in change management and user adoption plans

  • Partner with the Head Digital HR & Analytics HR and other business leaders to create business value add solutions within the Workday landscape

  • Providing guidance and expert coaching as subject matter expert to end-users and stakeholders on system capabilities and advanced ways to optimize Workday

  • Manage concurrent and complex Workday projects including new feature implementations and Workday releases for successful implementation and adoption of the new feature functionality

  • Conduct data analysis to identify system trends and recommend solutions to improve data quality system performance and user experience

  • Develop and maintain system documentation including business process flows technical specifications and test scripts

  • Stay current with Workday product releases across multiple functional areas and features and recommend updates and enhancements as appropriate

  • Maintain functional knowledge across multiple functional areas and teams driving community collaboration and a commitment to a great support service

  • Build and maintain custom reports and calculated fields in Workday

  • Support with mass uploads (EIB) to assist HR in maintaining a high data accuracy and ensure downstream data quality

Your profile:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

  • 5 years of experience and knowledge in the HRIS field preferably supporting HCM and Recruiting

  • 3 years of Workday experience in HCM Recruiting and processes leading up to Hire.

  • Talent & Performance Absence Compensation Expenses and other additional modules would be a plus

  • Operational HR experience would be a plus

  • At least one successful end-to-end deployment of Workday HCM as Functional Consultant/Lead

  • Solid Project Management Skills (e.g. PMP / Prince2 certified) would be an asses

  • Workday Recruiting and Candidate Experience

  • Workday Talent & Performance and/or Workday Advanced Compensation

  • Workday Reporting & Calc fields

  • Deep understanding of the Workday data structure including business process framework and security

  • Beneficial add-ons (via certifications or experience): Analytics Dashboards Absence Expenses

  • Excellent business analytical skills; project planning requirements gathering and documentation test planning deployment approaches.

  • Pro-active employee with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to facilitate communication between business and tech teams

  • Demonstrated ability to be confidential with personal data

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English and one other relevant language e.g. German Polish or French
