As a Sr. Systems Administrator you will be responsible for the configuration and reliable operation of computer systems and services. You will also be an integral member of the team that is responsible for managing operational services that support critical IC services.

What youll do:
Youll manage and maintain the organizations server infrastructure including physical and virtual servers ensuring their availability scalability and reliability.
Youll install configure and maintain operating systems software applications and security patches across the network.
Youll monitor system performance and proactively address any performance issues bottlenecks or potential problems.
Youll administer user accounts permissions and access rights ensuring data security and compliance with company policies.
Youll troubleshoot hardware and software issues perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurring problems.
Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support new technologies systems and applications as needed.
Youll provide technical support to end-users assisting them with IT-related problems and inquiries.
Youll maintain and update documentation related to system configurations processes and procedures.
What youll need to succeed:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and systems management.
Proficiency in managing Windows operating systems.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
Knowledge of network protocols firewall management and security best practices.
Experience with system monitoring and management tools.
Strong scripting skills (e.g. PowerShell Bash) for automation and task scripting.
Certification in ITIL or other relevant service management certifications is a plus.
An active TS/SCI clearance
Experience working with technical teams to develop and deliver technical documentation
