Job Description

The Pittsfield Public School District is seeking a candidate for the position of EL Family Wrap Around Service is a non-bargaining one-year grant-funded position that will end June 30 EL Family Wrap Around Liaison will develop and implement a strength-based approach to family engagement by focusing on the development of a positive and affirming school culture. The liaison works to improve family experiences in the district by supporting family empowerment and partnering with a network of community partners to facilitate prompt access to the holistic needs of students. This position works to cultivate relationships with community-serving providers who address issues of access for families. By serving as the facilitator of two-way communication with the community the liaison will expand the districts capacity to address the non-academic needs of students by working in collaboration with the school administration and support staff.
