Full Stack Developer
We are seeking an experienced and versatile Full Stack Developer with 8-10 years of professional experience including 6-8 years specifically working with ReactJS NodeJS Python and TypeScript. The ideal candidate will start by supporting and maintaining existing applications to gain a deep understanding of system architecture and will gradually shift toward designing and building new features.
You will be responsible for developing both frontend and backend components collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills a collaborative mindset and a drive for delivering high-quality scalable software.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity at Omni Fiber. Candidates must not require sponsorship now or in the future at this time.
Responsibilities:
Develop maintain and optimize RESTful APIs to support frontend applications and integrations with other services.
Build responsive dynamic and user-friendly interfaces using ReactJS and TypeScript.
Ensure seamless data integration between frontend components and backend services.
Start with maintenance and enhancement of existing applications to gain domain knowledge and transition to new feature development.
Collaborate with product managers designers and other developers to ensure solutions align with business goals and user needs.
Participate in and gradually help streamline team meetings improving overall productivity and communication.
Write clean maintainable and testable code that adheres to software engineering best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Statistics Mathematics Computer Science Economics or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience overall experience in Information Technology.
- 6-8 years of recent experience focused on Full Stack Development.
- Frontend: ReactJS TypeScript
- Backend: NodeJS Python
- Database: Relational & Non-relational databases
- API Design: RESTful services
- Familiarity with modern development tools CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g. Git)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Local to Allen TX and able to commute to the office a few days a week. If you are not local we will consider remote applicants.
- Telecommunications experience.
