Senior Nursery Practitioner
Gloucester FWC Childcare Permanent Full time
Up to 28643.63 per annum depending on experience
40 hours per week
Our Nuffy Bear Day Nursery is seeking a Senior Early years Educator/Senior Nursery Nurse to be based at our nursery located in our Nuffield Health gym.

As a Senior Early Years Educator its important that youre qualified to NVQ Level 3 in childcare studies (or equivalent) and you have experience of working in a nursery setting.
As a Senior Practitioner you will:
- Lead a small team ensuring the highest standards are maintained
- Help deliver full day care sessional care and pre-school for ages 3 months to 5 years
- Promote health and wellbeing helping children achieve the best possible start in life
- Ensure that learning is linked to every childs development
- Maintain great communication with parents carers and external professionals
- Be aware of and implement current legislation know and implement safeguarding policies and procedures
The Person
To succeed as a Senior Nursery Practitioner you will need:
- Will be qualified to a NVQ Level 3 in childcare studies or equivalent
- Have experience in a Nursery setting and have work with children
- Preferred paediatric first aid qualifications
- All candidate will require an enhanced DBS
