Job Description

IQVIA is seeking a scientifically minded and highly motivated Market Access Specialist to join Angels Initiativea global initiative focused on elevating the standard of stroke care and improving patient outcomes. In this role youll collaborate with a leading pharmaceutical company to enhance stroke care through training process optimization and quality improvement.

This full-time position requires significant regional travel and offers the chance to contribute to a meaningful high-impact initiative.

Territory: Castilla y Len Galicia Principado de Asturias Cantabria Pas Vasco Comunidad Foral de Navarra y La Rioja

About Us:
Every 30 minutes a stroke patient who could have been saved dies or is permanently disabled because they were treated in the wrong hospital. Our mission is to increase the number of patients treated in stroke-ready hospitals and to optimize the quality of treatment in all existing stroke centers. We are building a global community of stroke centers and stroke-ready hospitals working every day to improve the quality of treatment for every stroke patient.

Responsibilities:
As an Associate Market Access Specialist for the Angels Initiative you will:

  • Increase efficiency in the management of stroke patients
  • Support hospitals EMS companies and healthcare professionals with continuous training and organizational tools
  • Promote new diagnostic and treatment guidelines to hospitals as an expert Therapeutic Consultant
  • Foster and promote quality monitoring programs to ensure consistent performance of hospitals and EMS companies
  • Extend the reach of the project to new hospitals and EMS companies
  • Lead multidisciplinary stroke teams through continuous improvement
  • Improve therapeutic protocols in major hospitals

Required Skills:

  • Excellent scientific background
  • Ideally PhD in Neuroscience
  • High motivation and excellent people skills
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Leadership skills
  • Proactivity flexibility and problem-solving skills
  • Eligibility to work full-time in Spain
  • Driving license B1
