JOIN LEITNER-POMAS TALENTED SERVICE TEAM
Are you ready to elevate your career with Leitner-Poma of America Inc. Were on the hunt for a dynamic and driven individual to become a vital part of our Mechanical Lift Maintenance team ensuring the smooth operation of ski lifts gondolas and tram systems. In this exciting role youll work hands-on with customers using your technical expertise and diagnostic tools to tackle machinery challenges and uncover the root causes of malfunctions.

WHAT YOULL BE DOING
As a Mechanical Lift Maintenance Technician you will be the expert problem solver who dives into mechanical challenges providing top-tier maintenance and repairs to ensure lift systems operate seamlessly. Your role involves engaging directly with clients offering solutions and building lasting relationships through your technical expertise and leadership.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
This is a temporary on-the-job training program aimed at developing the skills necessary to be successful in our Mechanical Lift Maintenance Technician positions.

The program will require Service Member eligibility of 151-180 days where there will be 24 weeks of on-the-job training. Upon completion of this program the individual will be eligible to apply for any available Mechanical Lift Maintenance Technician positions. While engaging in this program Service Members will continue to receive their entire military compensation package as if they were still serving.

In this program individuals will gain a comprehensive understanding of mechanical lift maintenance principles master the terminology and functionality of ski lifts and develop skills for positive customer and problem-solving interactions. You will learn adjustment procedures for lift systems perform NDT (non-destructive testing) efficiently and efficiently navigate the filing system and access historical records.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma/GED equivalent.
At least 1 year of heavy mechanical repair experience.
Demonstrated experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings & prints.
Valid drivers license with the ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
Ability to work in inclement weather in a mountainous environment at heights in excess of 20 feet.
