Job Summary
Manages supervisors engineers and Data Center site. Aids in testing project management and resolving incidents.
Responsibilities
Management
Manages supervisors and engineers
Manages team to work safely effectively and with high regard to human error avoidance
Manages personnel details to include salaries positioning hire/fire reviews coaching and development
Site Capacity Management
Overall site capacity management
Project/Infrastructure Management
Plans coordinates reviews budgets and implements resources to complete projects and maintenance within the data center
Provides input and guidance towards budget
Vendor Management
Oversees contractor work and operations to ensure completion to Equinixs required standards KPIs and SLAs
Testing
Ensures correct processes are followed and all documentation is complete
Takeover of new builds and building infrastructure
Writes all MOP scripts
Incident Management
Communicates and coordinates activities and on-site staff during an incident
Assists with root cause analysis and incident resolution
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications
5 years Data Center experience
High School Diploma
Recent hands on Facilities experience (HVAC Electrical Maintenance etc.) preferred
