The Opportunity:

The company is currently looking for an experiencedProject Managerto join our team supporting Office of Naval Research (ONR) for the Department of passionate team of industry-leading individuals leverages best practices in Systems Engineering and Rapid Prototyping to integrate and deliver state of the art capability in support of our nations warfighters.
As a Project Manager you run a team and be be responsible for the overall management of specific projects under the task order and ensure that the technical and financial solutions and schedules in the specific delivery orders are implemented in a timely manner and will ensure quality products and services are delivered to the customer.
This position is located on site in Crane IN.
Responsibilities:
Your overall primary job responsibility consists of project oversight management and execution to the Program Manager.
  • Gathering and distributing information to subcontractors and service providers through initiating preparing reviewing and tracking RFIs and receiving reviewing submitting and tracking status of submittals.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly project status reports as required.
  • Attend project meetings as assigned.
  • Project coordination and Document Control.
  • Assist in project close out.
  • Serve as a liaison between CACI and the DoD customer for assigned project(s) providing project guidance managing technical staff and providing financial management for assigned project(s).
  • Responsible for the acquisition of services materials and supplies for assigned projects.
  • Working with the program manager and financial and procurement team perform market research analysis of materials and resources develop and revise rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimates and provide current and historical data for the acquisition of goods and services.
  • Supporting the program manager identify project requirements including justification write-ups sole-source recommendations and technical evaluations and maintain records of purchased materials and services by tracking purchase date lead time and cost and providing monthly reports to the customer.
  • Closely monitor project team performance to include vendors to ensure that materials and parts will be delivered on time and that the end product will meet customer needs.
  • Responsible for the technical performance of assigned project(s) while assuring product delivery to the customer in accordance with budget and schedule requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain vendor performance related to quality scheduling planning and acquisition strategy by compiling an up-to-date vendor list with qualified processes and technical skills and abilities.


Qualifications: (Please have the following requirements listed on resume before submitting for position):
Required:
  • Bachelors Degree in STEM major or business or related degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 8- years of experience in a position requiring project management expertise
  • Experience managing a team and deliverables
  • Active minimum Secret clearance
  • Excellent technical writing and data presentation skills
  • Track record of complex problem-solving aptitude
  • Ability to think analytically and independently
  • Team orientation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Competent writing and oral communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
Desired:
  • Existing experience managing projects on IAC MAC task orders
  • Experience in a project/program management position working with IAC MAC customers
  • Experience in DoD customer relations and project management
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • PMP
