What youll do:

Position title: SAP CSA iXp Intern Information Security Compliance Analyst

Location: Newtown Square PA or Bellevue WA

Expected start date: June/July 2025

Duration: 6 Months

Schedule: 40 HR/Week

  • Support audit fieldwork with external customer auditors using appropriate auditing methods while leveraging existing documentation (ie Standard procedures Walkthrough decks etc.) evidence and/or obtain new documentation to meet customer demands.

  • Contribute to customer security audit in collaboration with SAPs various lines of business helping to coordinate tasks and track progress.

  • Support the team in communicating project status and results with project team and stakeholders.

  • Assist team to document and mitigate any identified findings and/or potential risks and control weaknesses.

  • Assist with continuous evaluation and upgrading of operational policies procedures and best customer auditing practices.

  • Assist in maintaining positive relationships with internal stakeholders across departments.Stay up-to-date with industry developments regulatory changes and emerging risks to inform audit planning and execution.

  • Assist the team to work with SAP lines of business to track implementation and remediation of recommended solutions for mitigation and improvement.

  • Basic understanding on information security and compliance

  • Awareness or familiarity of industry standards and regulations like GDPR HIPAA PCI-DSS DORA etc

  • Strong attention to detail with a willingness to learn how to conduct thorough and accurate audits

  • Ability to manage time prioritize tasks and stay organized

  • Clear and effective communication is crucial

Meet your team:

The SAP Customer Security Audits team plays a crucial role in supporting customer risk assessments by coordinating facilitating and making recommendations on Security Audits and assessments.

We help customers meet their legal obligations - arising from privacy laws like GDPR sectorial regulations or specific industry standards - through efficient audit processes that align with SAPs commitments. Our work also involves responding to post-sale security questionnaires and ensuring that all actions taken adhere to SAPs policies to minimize non-compliance risks.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAPbelieves the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAPs commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 15-62 (USD) actual amount to be offered to the successful candidatewill be within that range dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education skillsexperience scope ofthe role location etc. as determinedthrough theselection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
