Performance Excellence and Learning Leader- Quincy ILPosition Summary:The Performance Excellence & Learning Leader is the site resource and coach for implementing PE & Learning practices across the operation. The PE & Learning Leader is responsible to work with in partnership with the site leadership team to understand current state envision future state and create a plan move the organization forward.
The role may lead & facilitate some training sessions as well as to grow other team members to grow in their ability to train and lead sessions themselves. The PE & Learning Leader is the point of contact for ADMs central PE & Learning teams and to implement Training & Continuous Improvement standards and best practices from ADM and industry.
The PE & Learning Leader supports the sites SMS processes including various Review & Respond sessions and Deployment plans. The PE & Learning Leader owns the creation and execution of the site PE and Training & Development Deployment plan to support the Sites X-Matrix / Big Rocks.
Job Responsibilities:Develop and implement a premier training program to provide a highly effective robust motivated and safe workforce passionate about continuous improvement by:
- Provide coaching on problem solving using data and analytics
- Assist departments with root cause analysis systematic problem solving and the implementation of sustainable countermeasures
- Perform education for location teams
- Train & influence teams to utilize tools and methodologies aligned to PE
- In the course of workidentify gaps and provide solutions.
- Responsible for the Sites new hire training program.
- Establish relationships and collaborate with OJT (on the job training) mentors subject matter experts procedure reviewers training reviewers engineers managers/supervisors and EHS staff to support the sites training activities.
- Maintain update and audit all training documents and procedures as required by changes MOCs and periodic reviews.
- Enhance skills to include adult learning methodologies and deliver one on one coaching and instruction in the field training casual small group training and formal stand up instruction.
- Collaborate with the Performance Excellence Team to develop implement document and measure the efficiency of training.
- Mentor and develop site team to establish an inspiring & high performance culture.
- Other management support functions as determined by Complex Manager to assist in maintaining safe reliable and efficient plant operations.
Job Requirements:- Manufacturing background either as a plant supervisor or extensive experience
- Systematic problem solving skills related to manufacturing performance.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to communicate to team members of all levels in both written and verbal format.
- A strong foundation and demonstrated use of Performance Excellence.
- Demonstrated belief in growth mindset and the individuals ability to learn and develop with appropriate training desire & effort.
- The ability to lead and motivate others.
- The ability to assess training needs translate job requirements into training requirements and organize instructional material both during development and in presentations.
- Proficiency in active listening clear communication training coaching and developing.
- Networking skills to help get all others to support Performance Excellence and training programs including the ability to encourage and improve the level of engagement within their team.
- Presentation skills suitable to all types of training (one-on-one coaching in-the-field training casual small group training and formal stand-up instruction). A self-driven work ethic that is a positive role model for trainees.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location job-related knowledge skills and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
