Shift: TBD

Pay: $52500K

Job Title: Safety/Loss Prevention Manager

Reports to: Safety General Manager/ LP Group General Manager

Benefits: Medical Dental AD &D


Job Purpose:To manage the day to day Loss Prevention business operations of the distribution centers nationwide in a manner consistent with the financial and operational goals set for the sites and to oversee the proper administration of the Loss Prevention plans designed and implemented for all sites.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages the financial reporting of all Loss Prevention.
  • Designs creates and implements Loss Prevention planning for all sites.
  • Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures and to determine adequacy levels of merchandise working with the Inventory control Manager for all sites.
  • Schedules work for special and periodic inventories.
  • Determines work procedures prepares work schedules and expedites workflow.
  • Issues written and oral instructions.
  • Assigns duties and examines work for exactness neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.
  • Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.
  • Train employees to spot theft and to stop theft
  • Responsible to handle all criminal activities
  • Adjusts errors and complaints.
  • Other duties may be assigned as necessary.


Additional Responsibilities:


A loss prevention manager must have excellent analytical skills to quickly analyze a situation and determine if a crime is taking place. Excellent communication skills are also important for a loss prevention representative to properly interact with his/her staff interview suspects and train employees to properly use all the tools at her/his disposal a loss prevention manager must have a thorough knowledge of the latest computer and video technology. He/She must also be familiar with criminal laws and how those laws apply to his/her job.
