Job Title:Occupational Therapist
Grade:Band 6
Location:Leeds West Yorkshire
Working Hours:37.5 hours per week

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our esteemed clients team in Leeds West Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated professional to contribute to the delivery of high-quality occupational therapy services. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately on a short-term contract. This vacancy offers competitive rates.

What will your responsibilities be

You play a vital role in delivering comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions that empower individuals to develop recover or maintain essential daily living and work skills. By collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams you help design and implement personalised care plans that promote independence and enhance quality of life for every service user. Your commitment to maintaining accurate clinical documentation and contributing to service audits ensures high standards of care while your active participation in service development and quality improvement initiatives drives meaningful change. Through education and support you also guide patients families and carers making a lasting impact on their journey toward better health and well-being.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registration essential
  • Experience working within NHS or similar healthcare settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and clinical governance
