Position: Full-Time Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday Friday

Hale Country Club & Spa is seeking an experienced Maintenance Operative to join our team. This role involves maintaining the mechanical electrical and other systems within our luxury hospitality environment.
PRIMARY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical electrical and other systems
- Conduct small fix and re-decorative works including painting wallpapering joinery and carpentry to high visual standards
- Maintain and operate HVAC systems electrical equipment plumbing systems and building management systems
- Manage a small portfolio of wet leisure facilities including spa pool steam room and gym equipment
- Conduct temperature monitoring and Legionella compliance tasks
- Perform facility inspections and report conditions affecting operations
- Escort specialist contractors and collaborate with them as required
- Respond promptly to emergencies and comply with all safety procedures
- Support after-hours building needs and activities as necessary
- Perform other assigned tasks as requested

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:
The successful applicant will have/be:
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician in a luxury hospitality or leisure environment with repair fault finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to plan ahead and prioritize workload effectively
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive can do attitude and proactive approach to work
- Good computer literacy including proficiency in MS Office packages
- Relevant mechanical engineering qualification (e.g. NVQ ONC OND) would be advantageous
