Are you passionate about creating and maintaining beautiful golf courses Foxhills Collection is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Greenkeeper to join our team on the weekends and contribute to the upkeep of our stunning courses at our prestigious establishment.

Position: Greenkeeper - weekend availability only
Location: Farleigh Golf Club Warlingham Surrey
Type: Casual contract working weekends

Responsibilities:

• Switching and Brushing greens
• Mowing
• Scarifying turf
• Applying top dressing pesticides fertiliser
• Divotting
• Irrigating aerating turf
• Identifying and controlling pests diseases
• Marking of hazards out of bounds GUR
• Moving Tee blocks
• Changing holes
• Maintaining course furniture
• Reporting machine failures
• Laying drains
• Seedbed preparation
• Construction and maintenance of tees greens bunkers
• Establishing and maintaining trees
• Working within the clubs environmental policy
• Maintaining a clean and tidy working envionrment including sheds surrounds machinery and equipment.
• Working within Health & safety guidelines
• Reporting dangerous situations
• Drive all terrain vehicles
• To be courteous to our members and answer any questions they may have while on the course.
• To identify and notify senior members of staff about any disease or damage.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in greenkeeping
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must work in a way that abides to all health and safety legislation.
• Be able to follow instruction and work well both independently and as part of a team
• Able to work Saturdays and Sundays
