About the role
In this Health Clerk role you will work Monday to Friday as 0730 to 1600. You will be responsible for providing clerical services including maintenance of electronic and hard copy health records maintaining databases and information management systems filing and photocopying and ordering stationery. You will also communicate with internal and external customers to obtain patient information as required. The work you undertake will be in accordance with Defence Policies and Procedures Medical-in-Confidence and Staff-in-Confidence standards.
About Lavarack
Tindal Health Centre is located at RAAF Base Tindal 15km outside Katherine and 320km south-east of Darwin. The facility has a routine dependency of approximately 550 Defence members surging at regular Air Force exercise periods throughout the year. The health centre provides general medical aviation medical nursing physiotherapy and mental health services. It also operates a 10-bed inpatient low dependency day ward. Standard operating hours are generally 0730-1600 Monday Thursday depending on role requirements and a half day 7:30 13:30 Friday.

With experience working in a clinical support role you enjoy knowing your work is contributing to positive health outcomes for patients. You understand the importance of accurate and up-to-date record keeping in a clinical environment and take pride in being responsible for this.
