Position Overview:
As a Product Owner at Johnson Health Tech you will partner across global teams to not only support our existing fitness platforms but also design build & deliver the next generation of fitness products. R&D works as one team for all development testing design and customer/end user support. This potion requires a no excuse approach in working alongside all global console web app design quality assurance hardware and related development teams. The ability for Peer to Peer leadership relationship building knowledge sharing and implementation of integrated development practices with global development teams product managers and factories is paramount in the success of this position.
Responsibilities:
Define & prioritize the product backlog set quality standard for delivery & represent the business to the Agile team
Contribute to the creation of product vision & alignment with strategic priorities with stakeholders
Work with Product Manager key stakeholders and development team to develop and maintain the product roadmap. Incorporate input into product roadmap while effectively negotiating tradeoffs of conflicting priorities based on value to the business and customer.
Communicate the product strategy effectively to key stakeholders business partners & team members
Use data to identify opportunities prioritize work test hypotheses & drive innovation
Ensure delivery of scope partner with your Agile team to ensure user stories are clear remove barriers for team members and resolve open issues/questions quickly and efficiently
Manage features or products with a low to medium degree of scope and complexity
Support defining minimum viable product (MVP) and analyzing feasibility cost ramifications economies of scale and other aspects of planned or potential programs
Develop user story acceptance criteria and participate in team demos and retrospectives.
Engage the team and gain alignment regarding product strategy and business outcome with focus on continuous improvement
Other Requirements:
Ability and willingness to travel internationally
Communication and support of globally based development teams during non-standard business hours
Education:
Minimum of a 4-year degree in computer science information systems or business
OR minimum of 10 years equivalent experience in agile project/product management
Certified Product Owner through Scrum Alliance or
Or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) through Project Management Institute
Experience:
4 or more years of experience as a Product Owner or Project Manager prioritizing software development products using Agile development methodologies and/or owning a product backlog.
OR 8 years as a technical SME on an agile product team as a cross functional team member
Minimum of 3 years working on an Agile Cross Functional Team
Highly Desired:
Bilingual (Mandarin/English)
