CNC Turner

Job Title: CNC Turner (Vertical Borer)
Location: Hinckley
Position: Permanent
Salary: 16.00 - 17.00 per hour shift allowance
Hours: Double Days


The Opportunity:
EMBS Engineering is seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Turner to join a well-established precision engineering company located in Hinckley This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the production of high-quality components and further develop your engineering expertise within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings
• Set operate and edit CNC Turning / Vertical Boringmachines
• Adjust toolings and offsets set datums check tools and work holdings
• Self inspect own parts using manual measuring equipment

About You:
As a CNC Turner you will have experience of working in a precision engineering background and enjoy working on complex components. You will be confident working to tight tolerances and high standards to ensure customer objectives are met.


Essential Requirements:

• Unrestricted right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Skills Required:

• Able to set operate and edit CNC Turning and/or Vertical Boringmachines
• Able to use Fanuc and / or Siemens controls
• Proficiency adjusting toolings and offsets set datums check tools and work holdings etc
• Worked with large components
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings in metric and imperial measurements
• Confidence self inspecting own parts using manual measuring equipment
• At least 3 years experience of working in a similar role
