HIRING RANGE DOQ: $28.08 - $33.11 hourly
$31.54 - $37.38 hourly with license

JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Electrician to join our team at the Water Purification facility a critical part of delivering clean safe drinking water to our community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment crucial to facility operations. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues performing preventative maintenance on electrical systems and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
The successful applicant will have experience with three-phase motors and control systems in an industrial setting as well as general electrical work experience in industrial environments.
We are looking for a proactive team player with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety and quality. The Industrial Electrician will work closely with other trades and maintenance personnel to ensure smooth facility operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from high school or GED certification and must be a journeyman electrician certified by the state of South Dakota and the City of Sioux Falls; or any such combination of education experience and training as may be acceptable to the hiring authority.
Must possess or be able to obtain within 90 days of hire a valid Class B commercial drivers license.
Possession of valid City and State Electrical Contractors Licenses is mandatory for the C42 level position.

Competitive salary with other public and industry positions including step advancements.
The City participates in the South Dakota Retirement System. Employees receive a 6% match. Additionally employees may choose to enroll in a Deferred Compensation Plan.
