We were meant to fly.Were reinforcing the Through Life Support Engineering team and competencies to support development and In-Service phases of high technology military and commercial programs. The team works in a dynamic and international environment and is creating strong relationship with most of Avio Aero sections (within and beyond Engineering) with other companies (acting as partner or suppliers) and with Government organizations.
The Through Life Support Engineer (TLSE) will define the optimized approach to plan and develop support for engines and/or components in order to ensure the maximum availability and the minimum costs throughout entire lifecycle of the product with a moderate autonomy in the role guided by professional practices and policies.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Define maintainability needs and connect with engineering organizations (from design to In Service teams) to guarantee application and evolution of the maintenance planning (preventive predictive and corrective tasks)
Support fleet modeling to identify spare parts needs along the entire engine lifecycle
Define needs of Support and test equipment with particular attention to Packaging handling storage and transportation for most important items
Identify Manpower and personnel needs for the different maintenance bases
Define needs of Training for operators and Technical publications
Participate in cross functional team as part of lean events for service contracts productivity enhancement
Qualifications/Requirements
Masters degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
Good interpersonal leadership and communication skills
Clear thinking and diligent approach
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
Ability to document plan market and execute programs
Availability to business travel
Fluency in English and Italian
Work Visa in accordance with local regulation is required
