About the Position
Full time Utility this is an entry level position in an animal premix facility in Lethbridge AB. In order to meet the requirements of this job posting the applicant will be cross-trained in all operational positions to facilitate operational needs.

About the Position
Full time Utility this is an entry level position in an animal premix facility in Lethbridge AB. In order to meet the requirements of this job posting the applicant will be cross-trained in all operational positions to facilitate operational needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Training will be provided and the successful candidate will be able to meet expectations within a reasonable period of time
- Duties include but are not limited to material handling and light maintenance
- Adhering to Safety Rules GMP HACCP and Food Safety protocols is crucial
- This position also includes general sanitation duties following established GMPs for our food safety programs
- Must be able to work from heights stand sit kneel crawl and bend
- May be required to lift 55 lbs. / 22 kg
- Must be able to work in a variety of hot cold or wet conditions
- Shift work overtime and weekends will be required
- The successful candidate must possess good communication skills the ability to follow directions and most importantly perform various tasks safely and independently in a production environment.
- The successful applicant will be competent when working with machinery including the ability to safely troubleshoot operational issues
- Basic computer skills numeracy and record accuracy are also necessary to succeed at this role.
- There is room for further advancement in this role
Education or Work Experience
- High school education or equivalent is preferred
- Work in accordance with local/provincial legislation
- Understands and is accountable for full compliance with safety and other EHS requirements
