Job Type:Full Time
Shift(s) Available:Rotating
Compensation: $ 21.00/Hr

Principal Accountabilities

  • Operating equipment associated with the loadout and unloading process for grain including trucks railcars utilizing scales pumps and conveyors etc
  • Complete various tasks including switching rail cars operating locomotives rail pit unloading and housekeeping
  • Monitor equipment complete pre-use daily inspections independently solve simple problems while escalating more complex issues to the appropriate supervisor
  • Rotate through all positions within the specified utility operator department
  • Interacting regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork focused environment
  • Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Other duties as assigned



Required Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending lifting up to 50lbskneeling climbing crawling and twisting with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat cold dust loud noise etc. with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office software with an emphasis on Excel Word and Excel
  • Ability to work overtime including weekends holidays or different shifts with advance notice



Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience
  • Basic computer and typing skills
  • Forklift experience
  • Experience with inventory systems
  • Experience in a production and/or similar military environment
  • Railcar experience
  • FRA certification
