Job Description
Role: Senior Service Designer
Location: Long Beach CA
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Im looking for a Senior Service Designer to support a high-impact healthcare project. This is a contract role (40 hours/week) through the end of the year with monthly onsite meetings in Long Beach CA. Please only submit candidates who meet every requirement below-no remote-only candidates will be considered.
We are looking for another candidate like our previous successful placement who has:
- 5 10 years of experience in Service Design (titles like Service Designer Service Design Lead Strategic Designer etc.)
Proven experience in:
- Service blueprinting (mapping frontstage/backstage systems and interactions)
- Customer journey mapping
- Conducting and synthesizing user research
- Facilitating cross-functional stakeholder workshops
- Low- and high-fidelity prototyping and usability testing
- Experience in regulated industries-healthcare strongly preferred (e.g. pharma health plans providers)
- Deep understanding of ADA and WCAG accessibility
- Strong collaboration experience with product dev compliance/legal customer support and vendor partners
Tools:
- Figma Miro Jira Confluence must be fluent in these or similar
- Bonus: Experience developing repeatable design systems frameworks or blueprints
