Job Description

JOB TITLE: Aerospace Inventory Specialist
LOCATION: El Segundo CA
PAY RATE: Up to $27/hour

We are a national staffing agency partnering with top-tier aerospace and defense companies and were seeking first-class employees to join our clients teams!

Job Details:

  • Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)
  • Benefits: Medical dental and vision (Cigna)

  • Schedule: 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. (flexible to 7:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m.)

Qualifying Questions:

  • Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations
  • Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role
  • Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary

Summary:

  • Receive and inspect incoming inventory to ensure it meets design specifications

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels of aerospace components and materials

  • Collaborate with multiple departments to gather requirements and assemble kits

  • Ensure all inventory and kitting activities comply with AS9100D standards

  • Identify non-conformances and assist in implementing corrective/preventive actions

  • Generate reports on inventory status kit accuracy and other relevant metrics

  • Accurately track the movement of all parts and kits in the internal database

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree or High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of relevant experience

  • Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems

  • Ability to use mechanical measurement tools (e.g. calipers gauges)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Desired Skills:
  • Familiarity with AS9100D quality management system

  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems such as SAP

  • Knowledge of aerospace components and materials

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
