Job Description

JOB TITLE: VIP Interiors Supervisor
LOCATION: Moses Lake WA
SALARY: $107000/year

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

  • Oversee daily aircraft interior maintenance operations ensuring compliance with FAA regulations air carrier maintenance programs and company procedures.

  • Provide leadership training and development opportunities while driving efficiency quality and safety.

  • Ensure all maintenance and alterations are completed airworthy and per approved technical data

  • Supervise maintenance activities including preventive maintenance and return-to-service tasks

  • Utilize customer packages to plan and execute work in line with FAA and client requirements

  • Guide and prioritize team members across multiple specialties

  • Mentor team through On-the-Job Training (OJT) for skill development

  • Identify unsafe conditions and take corrective actions

  • Ensure tasks are completed on time and within compliance requirements

  • Communicate updates related to safety workflow and quality assurance to leads and crews

  • Manage materials; coordinate with logistics/procurement for timely parts/tools

  • Collaborate with Engineering to resolve technical issues impacting delivery timelines

  • Maintain clean organized and compliant workspaces

  • Demonstrate consistent reliable attendance

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • FAA Repairman certificate Airframe or A&P certification required

  • Minimum 5 years of recent commercial aircraft maintenance and/or MRO operations experience

  • Minimum 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role in aircraft maintenance

  • Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to communicate clearly in English (written and verbal)

  • Strong leadership time management and problem-solving skills

  • Comfortable working with all organizational levels

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • Strong mathematical reasoning and ability to interpret various instructions

  • Able to solve practical problems with minimal standardization

  • This is a safety-sensitive position subject to DOT drug and alcohol testing.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to climb ladders and step stools

  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs. independently and up to 100 lbs. with assistance

  • Able to reach overhead and work in cramped non-dust-free environments

  • Full range of hand motion; normal or corrected vision

  • Able to kneel stoop and stand for extended periods
