Job Description
ExpediteRN is a nurse-owned and operated healthcare staffing agency. We specialize in placing top nursing talent with healthcare facilities. We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating treating and caring for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.

$2328 weekly pay!
13 Weeks 36 Hours Rotating
Start Date 7/21/25
Key Responsibilities:

Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians.

Monitor patient responses to therapy and make recommendations based on clinical findings.

Manage ventilators and artificial airway devices for patients in critical care settings.

Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas analysis pulmonary function tests and sleep studies.

Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and equipment use.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.

Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to plan and evaluate patient care.
Qualifications:
-
Associates or Bachelors degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.

Current license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) as required by state.

BLS and ACLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to hire).

Strong knowledge of respiratory care techniques equipment and safety protocols.

Excellent critical thinking communication and patient care skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience in acute care or ICU setting.

Familiarity with EMR systems.
- 2 years of RRT experience in Hospital setting -- CRTs will not be considered by the Department --
- EPIC emr experience
- ALL certs must be active
- jet ventilator and oscillator experience required
- Must be willing/able to float across different units if needed
- NICU experience required
- Level III or Level IV NICU experience required
- ACLS (AHA)
- BLS
- NBRC
- NRP
- Iowa
