Job Description
MW Partners is currently seeking a Software Engineer to work for our client who is a global leader in multimedia and creativity software products.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Thorough understanding of test methodology test life cycle bug life cycle.
- Production/test Experience in Gaming/Animation industry is an added advantage. Experience with any Animation software including Flash/Animate authoring tool.
- ACE certification advantage. Experience with any scripting language such as HTML JavaScript perl python shell etc
- Should have ability to Write and maintain test specs and scripts
- Ability to interpret project specifications
- Works closely with development
- Good time management skills
- Superior communication skills
- Ability to use testing tools for product area
- Advanced knowledge of one core operation system
- Ability to take on new tasks
- Good problem solving and diagnostic skills Exp 2-5yrs
Requirements:
- BE Or Diploma in Animation
- Education in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Bachelors or Masters degree is a plus Minimum 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance and automation Passion for web technologies sharp eye for detail and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to easily learn new technologies Good knowledge of software testing fundamentals.
- Good understanding of common testing methodologies and ability to apply them.
- Ability to understand and interpret product specifications Good problem solving and diagnostic skills experience with troubleshooting.
- Relevant experience in working with web technologies Knowledge of scripting and programming languages Familiar with automated testing tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent in English both verbal and written Experience in developing test automation frameworks and systems Relevant experience in working with and developing applications based on Java
- ActionScript JavaScript Python Working in a Scrum team or in an Agile environment Working with remote teams
