Job Description
Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for a full-time Sonographer-Diagnostic Medical position. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.
Location: Honolulu HI 96813
Assignment Start Date: 6/6/2025
Assignment Shift: 5p-1a Full Time
Facility Salary: $110000.00 to $130000.00
- Prepares and performs ultrasound examinations on patients. Collaborates with physicians on examinations.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Essential: walking twisting body finger dexterity seeing hearing speaking; reaching above and at shoulder level; repetitive arm/hand motions; static gripping of an object for prolonged periods; frequent gripping of an object.
- Continuous: sitting reaching below shoulder level.
- Frequent: standing stooping/bending pushing/pulling maximum weight of 50 pounds.
- Occasional: sitting kneeling climbing stairs squatting lifting and carrying weights of 10 pounds up to 20 pounds.
- Operates ultrasound equipment and a computer.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.
- Must be able to adjust schedule for on-call coverage involving but not limited to evenings nights weekends and holidays.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
Experience:
- Two (2) years supervised work/training in diagnostic ultrasound preferred
- Prior recent experience as a diagnostic medical sonographer in an acute health care facility is preferred.
Education:
- Graduate of a CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs) approved school of Ultrasound Technology or other approved program as determined by the department preferred
Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:
- Registered Radiologic Technologist Preferred
- Registered by ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in Abdomen and OB/GYN sonography. If only registered in one (1) certification upon hire must obtain the other certification within twenty-four (24) months of entrance into the position.
- Current BLS/HCP certification.
