Job Description
Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for a CT Technologist. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.
Location: Rockford IL 61103
Assignment Start Date: 6/23/2025
13 weeks Days 8-Hour Shift 40 hours per week guaranteed
The Estimated Weekly Total is based on working the listed hours per week and includes available stipend amounts. Please contact a recruiter for full details.Performs computed tomography procedures and related techniques. Administers x-radiation to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation. May be required to alternate shifts weekends and holidays and take calls. May be asked to flex hours and overtime as necessary to provide quality patient care at assigned sites(s).
- Performs diagnostic CT procedures.
- If assigned radiographer job duties also performs radiographic fluoroscopic surgical and portable radiographic exams.
- Corroborates the patients clinical history with the procedure ensuring information is documented and available for use by the radiologist.
- Prepares the patient for procedures providing instructions to obtain desired results gain cooperation and minimize anxiety.
- Selects and operates imaging equipment image capture devices and accessories to successfully perform procedures.
- Positions patient to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest respecting patients ability and comfort; immobilizes patient as necessary.
- Practices aseptic technique as necessary
- Prepares and administers contrast media as appropriate to procedures performed; starts and maintains intravenous access.
- Initiates basic life support action when necessary.
- Provides patient education.
- Provides input for supply and equipment decisions and maintains control of inventory and supplies for the assigned area.
- Provides practical instruction for students and partners.
- Observes universal protocol standard precautions and appropriate patient identifiers.
- Applies principles of patient safety during all aspects of procedures including assisting and transporting patients.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
Experience:
- 2 years of CT experience required
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:
- ARRT Radiography registration is required. ARRT Computed Tomography registration is required.
- IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required.
- Approved CPR or BLS certification required
EMR System: EPIC experience preferred
Shift: Day Shift with weekend and holiday rotation
