Job Description
CT Technologist Computerized Tomography (Night Shift: Sat/Sun/Mon)
Location: Athena Medtech
Department: Computerized Tomography
Schedule: 3 Days/Week (12.5-Hour Shifts)
Shift Hours: 5:30 PM 6:00 AM Saturday through Monday
Weekly Hours: 36
Experience Required: Minimum 3 Years in CT Imaging

Athena Medtech is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our Radiology Department on a weekend night shift schedule. This role involves working with advanced CT imaging equipment to support accurate diagnosis and high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities-
Operate computerized tomography (CT) equipment to obtain diagnostic images of internal organs bones and tissues.

Accurately position patients for optimal image capture based on scanning protocols and physician instructions.

Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visualization of anatomy when required.

Perform daily warm-up and quality control procedures to maintain equipment performance and extend component life.

Adhere to proper sterilization and safety procedures to ensure a clean and secure patient environment.

Evaluate image quality and take additional images as needed to meet diagnostic requirements.

Interpret and follow physician orders precisely maintaining detailed and accurate imaging records.

Provide clear explanations and compassionate support to patients before and during procedures.

ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and advanced CT credentialing (required).

Minimum of 3 years of recent hands-on experience operating CT imaging systems.

BLS certification (required).

Strong knowledge of CT protocols radiation safety and contrast administration.

Excellent communication and patient care skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality diagnostic services.
