Job Description
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Night Shift
Location: Athena Medtech
Department: Respiratory Care
Schedule: 3 Days/Week (12-Hour Shifts)
Shift Hours: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM Monday to Friday
Weekly Hours: 36 (including every other weekend)
Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years
Certifications Required: BLS ACLS NRP
Preferred: Experience in NICU/PICU settings
Athena Medtech is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our Respiratory Care team for the night shift. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in neonatal and pediatric intensive care and a patient-focused approach to respiratory therapy in both routine and emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities-
Assess patients to determine appropriate type and frequency of respiratory treatments; develop individualized care plans based on diagnoses.

Implement monitor and adjust respiratory care plans therapies and equipment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Accurately monitor document and communicate patient conditions and responses to therapy.

Administer advanced respiratory modalities and medications in accordance with provider orders.

Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of treatments and make clinical adjustments as needed.

Educate patients and families regarding respiratory conditions treatments and available community resources.

Actively participate in code blue and rapid response teams delivering emergency respiratory support.

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required

Current BLS ACLS and NRP certifications

Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in an acute care setting

NICU and/or PICU experience strongly preferred

Proficient in use of ventilators nebulizers oxygen therapy and emergency airway management

Strong communication critical thinking and interpersonal skills
