Job Description
- Work as part of a team environment to perform specification testing accurately and consistently for both annual validation as well as the development of new products to ensure we are constantly providing consistent and high quality test results in a timely and efficient manner.
- Follow written work instructions in preparing laboratory specimens for testing.
- Verify the quality of leather submissions for all test specimens.
- Responsible for performing all specimen cutting correctly and without deviations.
- Opening of packages and labeling of hides received from production facilities.
- Filing of laboratory worksheets and test specimens in the storage area.
- General laboratory cleanup and maintenance.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Laboratory experience preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Stand for the entire shift in a single location performing repetitive motions.
- Able to lift up to 50 lb.
- Follow te4h Client s published Code of Conduct and Ethics.
- Availability to work various shifts including weekends.
- Microsoft office knowledge/experience
- Taber Martindale Crockmeter Veslic Instron Bally test equipment
- Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Excel
- Minimum 1 year in a Materials Testing Laboratory
