Job Description
Title: Scrum Master
Location: Raleigh NC(Onsite)
Contract Position
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile teams and ensure the successful delivery of projects in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Agile methodologies particularly the SAFe framework and will be skilled in facilitating Agile ceremonies managing project scope and driving team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and manage Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning Daily Stand-ups Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives across multiple cross-functional teams.
- Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles and the SAFe framework to foster continuous improvement and Agile maturity.
- Manage project scope timelines and ensure the team adheres to delivery schedules while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Act as a servant leader removing impediments and resolving conflicts to enable smooth team operations and timely delivery.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners stakeholders and other Scrum Masters to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Utilize Agile tools like Rally JIRA or equivalent for tracking progress reporting and managing backlogs.
- Promote a culture of collaboration accountability and transparency within the team.
Required Skills and Experience
- 15 years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 8 years serving as a Scrum Master.
- Strong working knowledge of the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
- Proficiency in Agile project management tools such as Rally JIRA or similar.
- Exceptional facilitation communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage scope schedule and deliverables in an Agile environment.
- Ability to resolve conflicts and foster team cohesion and motivation.
- Experience working with banking financial services or risk management domains is a plus.
- Scrum Master Certification (CSM SAFe Scrum Master or equivalent) is highly desirable.
Preferred qualification
- Experience working in large-scale Agile transformations.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile best practices.
